by a Universe
that is 13.8 billion years old
So trust the call of your Energy, your atoms and your Consciousness
It is the call of the Universe, awakening the Universe within you
You are part of the
Tree of Consciousness
The seeds of which
were sown by the Universe
As the tree breathes
The Universe breathes
In an expanding Universe
where life evolves
the role of the tree is to simply
expand and evolve
through all of the seasons
that break it and nurture it
and to experience
the wonder of being alive
in a Universe
so full of wonders
You are a work of art
that has been 13.8 billion years
in the making
Your atoms and your energy
have a history as old as the Big Bang
when the Universe manifested itself
into existence from a singularity
Within you are the infinite wonders,
the infinite mysteries, the infinite abundance
and the infinite beauty of the Universe -
waiting for you to explore, connect and manifest
the infinite nature of the Universe within you
and the Universe outside of you
A child's mind is so pure and innocent.
It thinks that reality is a fairy tale of good grades, good career, good family, good friends and love.
Never for a second, the child's mind imagines chaos and uncertainty.
Things like depression, anxiety, suffering, pain, loss, job dissatisfaction, soul loss and spiritual awakening, existential crisis, being a misfit, a cold, uncaring world - do not stir in a child's wondrous mind.
And as all of these extraterrestrial things begin to take over a child's mind, the innocence is lost and a void is known.
In the midst of this fog, as depth, edge, awareness and enlightenment begin to sow their seeds, the mind becomes a battleground of shadows and light.
After decades of survival, the mind finally relents to the spirit and consciousness expands by letting go of the fairy tales and embracing reality.
Which is when the mind understands that there's no such thing as reality and nobody knows much about why we are here or what life is supposed to be about.
When the mind finally accepts its role - as a pioneer exploring the frontiers of reality, of sanity, of love, of sadness, madness, kindness, fulfillment, weirdness and compassion.
And that is when the innocence is regained as the mind lets the spirit step into its long awaited role.
Sometimes, I wonder if there are quantum time machines wired into my neural pathways.
One minute I am in the present, the next minute my thoughts take a quantum leap into the future, into many parallel universes, most of them bleak and frightening, and some of them, full of wonder and excitement.
And, then, before I know, my thoughts take me into the past, a world of universes with no suns and blinding darkness.
And the present is lost in this quantum wormhole, traveling back and forth, into the past and the future.
