If you compare yourself to others, know that you are comparing an apple to an apple pie. Or the sun to the moon. Or a mountain to an ocean. Or winter to summer. At some point, you have to understand that the apple, the apple pie, the sun, the moon, the mountain, the ocean, the winter and the summer are elements that make up reality and that these elements play into the energy dynamics on planet Earth.
You are part of reality, creating a part of reality and you play a role in the energy evolution on planet Earth by the way your energy cuts through the space-time-consciousness fabric.
The reason I am writing about this today is because something happened today that changed my perspective on comparisons and because it helped me and it might help someone else.
I have caused myself a fair bit of grief by comparing myself to others. One evening, as I was gazing out the office window, staring at the road and the traffic, I, finally, understood that I cannot be like the people I want to be like because that is not my role on this planet.
A part of me has always been wrapped up in the big questions of life: what is my life purpose? Why am I here? What is the meaning of life? Why is there so much suffering everywhere? Over the years, I have realized these are not just philosophical questions but rather the most important thoughts that a human being can have because they will push you to be the real you and to create beautiful things in sync with your highest self.
Have you ever observed and questioned yourself as to why you are comparing yourself to someone else? Most of us seek happiness, health, wealth and love and when we compare, we think others have more than us. At least, that is why I found myself comparing to others. Being somewhat of an outsider, I always felt like it must be so wonderful to be able to fit in and enjoy the perks of that luxury. But then today my consciousness began to ask: What if this life isn’t just about happiness, health, wealth and love? What if it’s also about fulfillment and enlightenment? What if it’s about life purpose? And how do you even quantify or define happiness, health, wealth and love? What if what makes them happy does not make me happy? What if their idea of love is not what really makes my soul feel whole? What if I am comparing an apple to an apple pie? And then it clicked that my life purpose, my role, my goal is not the same as the people I was comparing myself to. Our souls, our energies were built for different roles. And that set me free in many ways.
Finally, understand that you cannot be like the person or like the people you are comparing yourself to because you do not have their genes or their life experiences. Life, destiny, the universe, whatever you believe in has ended up giving you the genes and the life experiences it has because it wants you to play the role and to step into the life purpose that your genes and experiences are designed to craft.
So be you. Live your life purpose. That will not only get you happiness, health, wealth, love but also fulfillment and perhaps enlightenment.
